Classes must have a minimum of 4 students to run.

Week Summer Schedule
1 class per week for 5 weeks is $50
2 classes per week for 5 weeks is $80
3 classes per week for 5 weeks is $105
4 classes per week for 5 weeks is $120
5 classes per week for 5 weeks is $150
1 additional 30 minute class: $25.00
Drop in rate for a 60 minute class: $12.00
Drop in rate for 75 minute class: $15.00
Payment due by first day of classes.

Summer Class Descriptions
Combo Class/Pre-Dance Description:
Our summer combo classes will introduce young dancers to pre- ballet concepts and tap basics. Props, games, and story dances are incorporated to encourage creativity and foster a fun learning environment. Attire: pink leather ballet slippers, black tap shoes. Dance wear or comfortable clothing.
Creating Space Description:
This inclusive creative movement based class is intended to offer space for children of all abilities to be creative and learn through movement, song, stories, games, & music together. The thematic program focuses on social & emotional learning concepts as well as early education targets. Creating space for Middles class will feature aspects of modern, jazz, yoga, hip hop and story-telling through movement. Alternative modes of communication are incorporated as well as adaptive movement. Let's all create together! Attire: Comfortable clothes, socks or bare feet
Acrobatic/Hip Hop Class Description:
This class for young beginners specifically focuses on developing rhythm and coordination, isolations, and body strength, while encouraging individual style through movement and basic acrobatic tricks. Attire: Acro: Leotard, bike shorts, bare feet or convertible/footless tights. Hip Hop: Dance wear ( no jeans) indoor sneakers or dance sneakers. Intro to Lyrical Class Description:
A great introduction class for teens & preteens interested in start-ing dance! Typically lyrical dance includes elements of ballet & jazz to portray the emotion or lyrics of a piece of music. Technique & choreography will balance this class Attire: Dancewear, Ballet shoes, lyrical shoes, or tan jazz shoes Musical Theater/Jazz: Class Description:
Experience the art of showmanship in this theatrical jazz class! Class will include warm ups, intro to technique, combinations and choreography Attire: dancewear, jazz shoes Yoga for relaxation Class Description:
An end of day restorative yoga class. Focus is on gentle stretches that work to release tightness and tension & utilizing breathwork to calm the body and mind. Participants leave refreshed & relaxed! Attire: comfortable clothing, barefeet or socks |
Ballet Class Description:
Cecchetti technique is taught hrough Barre & Centerwork. Turns, Adagio, Petite & Grande Allegro will be incorporated at age appropriate levels. Emphasis is placed on healthy practice, positive self image, and safe alignment. Attire: canvas or leather ballet slippers. Leotard & tights, or black leggings and a white or black fitted t-shirt. Ballet skirts or dance shorts are permitted. Please no sweatpants, sports bras, baggy t-shirts, sports shorts or sweatshirts. Leaps & Turns Class Description:
This class will feature instruction on jazz, lyrical, and/or contemporary leaps and turns. Dancer must have had at least 2 years of prior technical training. Attire: Dancewear, jazz shoes Jazz/ Tap Class Description:
Jazz & Tap techniche, combinations and choreography will make up this combo class for 6-8 year olds. Attire: Dancewear, tap shoes & jazz shoes Modern/ Contemporary Class Description:
A modern & yoga inspired warm up starts this class to build flexibility & strength. Elements of Graham, Horton, Limone, & other Modern pioneers are incorporated through the concepts of fall & recovery, swings, and spirals. Contemporary choreography that melds styles and emotives will be taught each week to provide dancers an experience of personal expression through movement. Attire: Comfortable clothes or dancewear, bare feet, socks, or sandal sole shoe Pointe / Pre- Pointe Class Description:
Continuation of ballet training for the dancer interested in moving beyond recreational ballet class. Teacher pre-approval is required for either class. Pointe & Pre Pointe are done in conjunction with regular Ballet classes and not in place of. Pre-Pointe class provides ankle & core strength training as well as continued turn out work in preparation for eventual pointe work. It is done in flat ballet shoes and occasionally bare feet. Pointe work is done in Pointe shoes. Students must have teacher approval before purchasing Pointe shoes. Attire: Same as ballet, convertible tights Tap: Back to Basics Class Description:
A tap class for those who want to learn for the first time or those interested in brushing up on past skills. Tap is a great dance style for building rhythm and a fun work out! Attire: comfortable clothing, tap shoes Strength & Stretch: Class Description:
